Three Russian ships hit and three sailors killed in Novorossiysk strike, SBU source says

The Ukrainian Security Service told the Kyiv Independent that the strike killed three sailors, injured 14, and damaged port and oil terminal infrastructure, but those claims were not independently verified.

  • SBU source said Ukrainian forces struck Novorossiysk on March 2, hitting the minesweeper Valentin Pikul and severely damaging the anti-submarine ships Yeysk and Kasimov.
