Amazon commits $35 billion to India by 2030
Announced at the Smbhav summit, the pledge adds to $40 billion plus already invested since 2010 and focuses on AI, exports and jobs.

- Amazon aims to support 3.8 million direct, indirect, induced and seasonal jobs in 2030, up from about 2.8 million in 2024.
- The company set a goal of enabling $80 billion in cumulative e-commerce exports by 2030, from more than $20 billion so far.
- Amazon plans to bring AI benefits to 15 million small businesses and provide AI education opportunities to four million government school students.
- The company launched an Accelerate Exports initiative and will run on-ground onboarding drives in manufacturing clusters including Tirupur, Kanpur and Surat.
