Anduril acquires space surveillance firm ExoAnalytic Solutions
Mar 11th 2026
Anduril will fold ExoAnalytic's global telescope network and data tools into its space defense business, boosting its space workforce and strengthening its capabilities for missile defense and planned satellite launches.
- Anduril bought ExoAnalytic Solutions, though the companies did not disclose the terms of the deal.
- ExoAnalytic operates about 400 telescopes worldwide to track spacecraft in high orbits and converts observations into situational awareness tools for U.S. agencies.
- ExoAnalytic will be integrated directly into Anduril and its roughly 130 employees will more than double Anduril's 120-person space team.
- Anduril says the acquisition can help it compete for missile defense work including the Golden Dome program and support its Pentagon-funded space-based interceptor effort.
- Anduril plans three internally funded launches this year that will use ExoAnalytic capabilities, including an infrared tracker with Apex Space and two high-orbit missions with Impulse Space and Argo Space.
- U.S. officials have raised concerns about Chinese and Russian spacecraft operating close to Western satellites, increasing demand for space domain awareness.
