Al Carns says Ukraine is Europe’s frontline as the conflict enters its fifth year and warns the UK faces threats in the North Atlantic, the High North, cyberspace and through disinformation.

Al Carns compared the current threat landscape to the three-year run-up to the Second World War.
He said Ukraine is the frontline of European defence and is doing a sterling job.
The minister said the UK has four frontlines: the North Atlantic, the High North, cyberspace and influence operations.
He warned Russia uses cyber attacks, industrial espionage and disinformation to sow division and weaken allies.
Carns described the conflict as operating below the threshold of all-out war as it enters its fifth year.
