Accenture to buy Speedtest and Downdetector for $1.2 billion

Accenture has agreed to buy Ookla-owned Speedtest and Downdetector from Ziff Davis for $1.2 billion, saying the network data will be used to support clients scaling AI while the platforms continue to operate pending regulatory signoff.
