A recently released FBI interview summary included in DOJ files says former Palm Beach police chief Michael Reiter told agents that in 2006 President Trump said 'everyone' knew about Jeffrey Epstein's abuse and called Ghislaine Maxwell 'evil.' The DOJ says it has no corroborating evidence of the call.

  • A 2019 FBI interview summary with former Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter records Trump calling in July 2006 and saying 'thank goodness you are stopping him, everyone has known he has been doing this.'
  • The report quotes Trump calling Ghislaine Maxwell Epstein's 'operative' and saying 'she is evil.'
  • Reiter told agents Trump said he left an event when teenagers were present and had thrown Epstein out of his club.
  • The Miami Herald first reported the FBI 302 summary, which redacts Reiter's name but identifies the former chief on duty during the 2006 local investigations.
  • The Department of Justice said it is not aware of corroborating evidence that the President contacted law enforcement in 2006.
  • Trump has publicly denied knowing about Epstein's crimes and has declined to rule out pardoning Maxwell
