A self‑identified hacktivist group says it breached the Department of Homeland Security and DDoSecrets published alleged contract records that include thousands of companies and contact details.
- A group calling itself Department of Peace claimed responsibility after DDoSecrets published contract data tied to DHS and ICE.
- DDoSecrets released records it says link more than 6,000 companies to DHS contracts from the Office of Industry Partnership.
- Published documents name contractors including Anduril, L3Harris, Raytheon, Palantir, Microsoft and Oracle.
- Security researcher Micah Lee organized the files into a searchable database by contractor, award amount and contact details.
- The records reportedly include full names, email addresses and phone numbers for contract contacts.
- The hackers said the leak was politically motivated and referenced the deaths of protesters Alex Pretti and Renée Good.
- DHS and ICE did not immediately comment and the authenticity and full scope of the data have not been independently verified.
