Honda halts major EV projects and pauses Prologue production

Honda announced it is stopping development on multiple ground-up EV models and is reportedly pausing production of the GM-built Prologue, citing tariff pressure and stronger Chinese competition; the moves could slow its progress on EV platforms and software-defined vehicles.

Honda halted development of the electric Acura RDX and the Honda 0 sedan and SUV this week.
