LG C2 OLED review: Best high-end TV for the money in 2022

Mar 20th 2026

LG's C2 pairs top-tier OLED picture and serious gaming features across a wide range of sizes, delivering only modest gains over the C1 while staying one of the best high-end TV values of 2022.

  • Class-leading OLED picture with perfect blacks, wide viewing angles and very accurate color in Filmmaker or Cinema modes.
  • Available in six sizes from 42 to 83 inches, with the 42- and 48-inch models using a non-Evo panel and likely slightly dimmer than larger sizes.
  • Significantly lighter than the C1 thanks to new carbon-fiber materials, with the 65-inch model dropping from about 72 pounds to 41 pounds with its stand.
  • All non-A2 C2 models include four HDMI 2.1 ports supporting 4K/120, variable refresh rate and auto low latency, with measured input lag around 13.5ms and under 10ms in Boost for 60Hz sources.
  • Measured HDR performance is only modestly higher than the C1 (about 812 nits peak and roughly 759 nits in accurate HDR) and remains well below the brightest LCD mini-LED competitors.
  • WebOS remains cluttered and the new always-ready art screen is optional, and while OLEDs have a small inherent risk of burn-in the review finds that risk manageable for most users.
