Red fox stows away from Southampton to New York and is now at the Bronx Zoo

A red fox that sneaked onto a cargo ship off Southampton crossed the Atlantic and was found at the Port of New York and New Jersey, where it is now receiving care at the Bronx Zoo while vets complete health checks.
- A two-year-old male red fox weighing about 11 lb (5 kg) was found on a cargo ship that sailed from Southampton to New York.
- US officials detected the fox among cargo at the Port of New York and New Jersey and brought it to the Bronx Zoo on 19 February.
