Russian officials reported 60 Ukrainian fixed wing kamikaze drones shot down across six regions in a two hour window amid a wider surge in UAV attacks and reciprocal strikes.
- Russian Defense Ministry said 60 Ukrainian fixed wing kamikaze drones were intercepted between 6pm and 8pm Moscow time.
- Interceptions occurred over Bryansk (33), Smolensk (14), Novgorod (7), Leningrad (3), Tver (2) and Kursk (1) regions.
- Bryansk governor reported one man injured at an agricultural facility and later said dozens more UAVs were destroyed, with no further casualties or material damage reported.
- On Saturday the Defense Ministry said 337 Ukrainian kamikaze drones had been intercepted over multiple Russian regions.
- Moscow says Ukrainian UAV attacks have intensified and that Russia has conducted long range strikes targeting dual use infrastructure and military sites in Ukraine.
