The British adaptation of the long running US sketch show debuts this Saturday as an eight part live series on Sky, with a UK cast and creative input from original SNL creator Lorne Michaels.

Saturday Night Live UK premieres as an eight part live series broadcast on Sky.
The series is overseen by US creator Lorne Michaels and follows the US SNL structure.
Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan and Riz Ahmed are scheduled as the first three hosts.
The UK cast includes Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young.
Writers on the show include Charlie Skelton, Al Roberts and Bella Hull.
Each episode will feature two musical performances, two pre recorded sketches and four live sketches, with Wet Leg as the first musical guest.
The production trained the cast in cue card use with Wally Feresten and built a London infused version of the New York set, while an early teaser received mixed online reactions.
