Court orders U.S. to start refunding tariffs ruled illegal

A U.S. trade court judge told CBP to begin returning potentially billions to importers after the Supreme Court found last month that the Trump-era tariffs were collected illegally, and set a Friday hearing to review the agency's refund plans.
- Judge Richard Eaton ordered Customs and Border Protection to finalize liquidations without the tariff and pay refunds with interest.
