The World Happiness Report 2026 finds heavy social media use is linked to falling life satisfaction among under-25s, while Finland leads the global happiness rankings for a ninth year.
- Report surveyed about 100,000 people across 140 countries and was produced by Oxford Wellbeing Research Centre with Gallup and the United Nations.
