President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told an interviewer that expanded defence production and battlefield experience have given Ukraine new leverage, and he urged allies to act quickly to prevent a wider war.

Zelenskyy says Ukraine now "has cards" because of its soldiers and increased defence production since the full-scale invasion.
He said the United States asked Ukraine for help rather than turning to France or Germany and that he is proud Ukraine can assist American partners.
He warned that peace for Ukraine will depend on whether allies provide support and how quickly those steps are implemented.
Zelenskyy said the world is not ready for a World War III because most countries lack experience with large scale land warfare.
He contrasted Ukraine's hard-won land warfare experience with other militaries that have focused more on missile and drone conflicts.
